Street Lights

The Board of Directors of Harris County W.C.I.D. No. 36 voted to enter into a contract with CenterPoint Energy to install streetlights for the District/Cloverleaf community, since September, 2005.

To report a street light outage:

• What is the light doing, is it always out, does it stay on all day, or does it go off and on?
• Record the 6-digit number located on the light pole.
• Call CenterPoint Energy customer service at 713.207.2222 to report.

History of installation of streetlights:

• 2005 – District began contract with 795 street lights
• 2017 – Added 33 more street lights on Freeport St.
• 2020 – Updated all streetlight bulbs to LEDs
• 2023 – Added 34 more street lights – focusing on some dead ends and dark spots
